Artists Statement
For me a painting is resolved when every element contributes to the whole and the sum of all elements is fully integrated. The process of achieving this resolution is one of profound mystery. I approach painting with a sense of letting go and allowing, watching the process unfold so that the journey to resolution becomes for me, like an inner, spiritual journey, feeling my way intuitively through to that point when the painting becomes separate from me. Then I say the painting speaks for itself.
