‘Art to Heart’
Christmas Exhibition Fund Raiser in Support of
YOUTH FUTURES WA

14th to 24th December 2010

This year’s Christmas Exhibition at Elements Art Gallery has been designed so that gallery, artist and patron have the opportunity to assist in providing a better future for the concerning number of youth at risk in our community.

In Perth alone, over 3,000 young people are without safe, secure or affordable housing, with many of these experiencing high levels of poverty and abuse.

20% of the retail price of all exhibition artwork purchased will be donated to YOUTH FUTURES WA. There will opportunity to make donations directly to one of their representatives, on the night, as well as participate in raffles with fabulous art prizes.

YOUTH FUTURES WA understands that homeless young people need “more than a roof” to overcome their issues. Working from a strength-based model of empowerment, they aim to equip these young people with skills required to engage positively with the community and live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Working locally for over 23 years, YOUTH FUTURES WA employs more than 40 professionally trained staff and volunteers. They have developed an impressive range of services including mentoring, emergency relief, accommodation, education, training and employment support.

Art to Heart is an opportunity to help build and nourish our community and take something unique and wonderful home at the same time. Not everyone is quite this lucky.
